I grew up in a family that respected faith. My parents practiced their religion seriously, and from an early age I was taught about God and how important it is to live with respect for Him. I believed in God, but deep inside I always felt that something was missing.
As a young person, I heard about Jesus– not just as a prophet, but also as the one who could bring peace to the emptiness I felt in my heart. I wanted to understand more, so I listened and learned.
Even though my parents had their faith, I came to realize that faith is something personal. It is not something that can simply be inherited. I needed to make my own decision to follow the way of God through Isa, and to trust Him with my life.
That step filled the emptiness I had carried for so long and gave me a personal relationship with God, through faith in Jesus
