One day, the man and woman (Adam and Eve) were deceived by Satan to eat the one fruit in the garden that God told them not to. This fruit would give them the knowledge of good and evil, and God said if they ate it, they would die. When they disobeyed, they trusted their own reasoning more than they trusted God. It broke their relationship with God and they became separated from Him.

Një ditë, burri e gruaja (Adami dhe Eva), u mashtruan nga Satani (Djalli) dhe hëngrën frutin që Zoti u kishte thënë të mos e hanin. Ky frut do t’u jepte diturinë ose njohjen e së mirës dhe së keqes, dhe Zoti u kishte thënë që nëse e hajnë do të vdesin. Kur u rebeluan, ata i besuan vetës më shumë se Zotit. Kjo prishi marrëdhënien e tyre me Perëndinë dhe ata u ndanë nga Ai.
